There was a movie or a show where a guy has a date with a girl. He thinks it goes well, but she doesn't return any of his calls so he begins to think something terrible has happened to her. He convinces the landlady to let him into her apartment. She is home and asks him if he is crazy and then has to explain that she thought he could take a hint. He is not actually stalkerish personality-wise so he immediately leaves and doesn't bother her again. Anyone recognize this plot point? I can't for the life of me remember.
